Gwyneth Paltrow just gave birth to baby Moses recently. I imagine, as with baby Apple before, she will recover her figure in no time at all. Paltrow, like my sister-in-law, is blessed with a great figure that little seems to disrupt. It seems everybody these days is trying to drop a few pounds or more, or is at least concerned with maintaining the figure they already have. There are many diets out there and it seems that more and more sprout up weekly. At best, the different ways to lose weight, the different diets that cloud the media and the Internet, are overwhelming. Typically they are confusing and at worst they are contradicting. The Subway diet, as made famous by Jared Fogle, demands that you eat a lot of bread. Other diets, such as Atkins, tell you to run away if you see bread. This conflicting information could confuse anybody. Then there are diets that tell you to tailor your eating habits to your blood type and this only makes matters worse for most people. Who ever said that once you graduate college, get an adult job, find that special someone, and begin to settle down and make your lives together that somewhere playing needed to be pushed aside? Many adults who played sports and participated in team activities somehow decided once they began their own lives and careers, playing became less important. Surprisingly, to play is very important; it takes the place of the gym and exercise classes which many adults find boring and monotonous.
